The agreement
Installing or using the Firsthand app for Shopify means you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you install on behalf of a business, you agree on its behalf.
The service
Firsthand adds a post-purchase survey to your store's order confirmation page, links each answer to the order it followed, and reports on the results — including a comparison between what shoppers say and what your store's analytics credited. Features may be added or improved over time.
Fees
Firsthand is billed through Shopify's app billing at the price shown on the app's Shopify App Store listing. The price does not depend on order volume or response volume. If the listed price for new subscribers changes, your price stays what it was when you subscribed, for as long as your subscription stays active.
Your data
Your survey responses and reports are yours. You can export them as CSV at any time, on every plan, including after you cancel. Data handling, retention, and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Don't use Firsthand to collect data you have no right to collect, to ask shoppers for sensitive personal information in survey questions, or in violation of Shopify's terms or applicable law. You are responsible for the questions you write and for your own disclosures to your customers.
Warranty and liability
Firsthand is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on reports the app produces.
Termination
You can stop using Firsthand at any time by uninstalling it from your store, which also ends billing at the close of the current billing cycle and triggers data deletion per the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end service for breach of these terms or abuse of the platform.
